The last good movie by him happened to be my favorite SRK movie of all time - My Name is Khan, though I felt he over acted a bit, but the story was worth it. For the next few years he turned from an actor to a star with some really stupid films to his name. This time it turned about to be twice the fun!
The movie revolves around an over obsessive fan Gaurav Chandna(SRK effortlessly playing a 25 year old), Delhi boy and a dopple ganger of his favorite star, wait, umm.his life Superstar Aryan Khanna(Playes by SRK again with equal finesse). The tale of this over obsession of a fan towards his idol takes a turn into a wild confrontation between the two, this forms the crux of the story.
There are times in the story where you feel that the plot is a bit too far fetched, but it is the aura of SRK which carries it through and make it a wonderful experience at the end. This movie has the stamp of authority of perhaps Bollywood's biggest star ever.
The transition from a Fan to a maniac is mind boggling and reminds of some of SRK's antagionistic Roles. The songs, the direction and the screen play all are good if not great. SRK aside the rest of the cast has also done a commendable role but who notices the planets when they are in front of a star anyway.
Definitely one of SRK's best in recent times. A must watch of SRK Fans and critics alike. My rating 4/5
