After reading several reviews on this product, I decided to invest in ''Fair and Lovely''.
My purchase was solely for the fact that it contained Titanium Dioxide. A potent ingredient normally found in sunblock.
I had tried numerous sunblocks before, (Cellex-C, Bullfrog); only to be left with slimey, greasy pastey white face that melted in the sun.
When I recieved my ''Fair and Lovely'' I was excited. I was not searching for the cream in the bottle that would turn my skin Geshia Girl White. Just something to protect from the sun. The creme smelled nice, but once applied to my face I noticed a tingle similar to prickly needles. My face became so dry that I had to apply a moisturizing facial cream on top of this one.
After about 40 seconds the tingling had subsided.
I have been using ''Fair and lovely for about 2 weeks now and have noticed no visible changed in appearance or that it sheilds from the suns rays. As a matter of fact after an hour run in the sun and ''Fair and Lovely'' I noticed that my forehead hyperpigmented.
Summary:
''Fair and Lovely'' does a better job smelling nice and emptying your wallets. You're better off with a wide brim hat for sunprotection and entoned skin.
