I'm an ex-Facebook user. I joined Facebook in 2011 and after using it for nearly 2 years I decided to delete my account. Some of the reasons were: -
1> Of all the people on my friends list, I genuinely cared about just 20-25. Constant updates from rest of them whenever I logged in was quite irritating.
2>People whom I knew by just their faces and never had any kind of conversation were also sending friends request and it wasn't polite to reject those.
3>Almost all of my family members are on Facebook and I didn't wanted them to read all that was being posted on my wall.
4>Lastly a lot of time was wasted in keeping track of my ex-girlfriend and whats going on with her. Because even though it is over and I dont like her anymore, yet there was temptation to know about her life.
Now I'm just on whatsapp which I think is better than Facebook. Only those people who you want in your life can communicate and keep in touch with you and vice versa.
