Good evening to all the viewers of Mouthshut.com. Today I have taken a very INTERESTING topic to write a review about, FACEBOOK. Yes viewers I am going to write down all my experiences that I had during my 6 years stay with Facebook which is no longer anymore and I do not even repent for that.
It was a big boom when Facebook was launched on February 2004 and gradually it has creeped in to the SYSTEM that is US the HUMAN beings. It has turned in to a necessity for survival as if, if you do not have a FACEBOOK account than you do not Exist. I too had an account with Facebook but sorry Facebook I am not any more one of your Family members.
I had many reasons for Deleting the existing account and I will write down those. I am not posting against any of the Facebook users but this is what I felt:
> Day by Day I found that I was becoming addicted to it. Till the time that I was just using the Facebook platform to connect with my already known friends it was great. But later on it was just like a Parasite resting on my mind, not ready to be dormant and always wanted to be active.
> I feel there should be limit to everything. TOO much of Anything is not good. What I meant to say that TOO many Friends and TOO much of Connections is also not good as it jumbles up many thoughts. Human nature will definitely act that is Speaking about others. Hence too many friends so too many updates and news that are mostly unwanted.
> Now this is Point a Bit INTERESTING and I will try to trace in a proper way. What I hate is to see the STATUS UPDATES Some of which are like, "Dinner with My Girl at XXXXX", "Feeling Cozy with XXXXX" and many more!
What I meant is that you are with your LOVED ONES and having some great time, why the HECK it needs to be made PUBLIC. I will tell why, its only because PEOPLE wants others to talk about them and comment.
Well here is a True scenario, I know one person who was my friend and he got married to a Girl who too was my friend. Now I agree to some extent like Updating some Profile pics of Marriage is great letting the others know that you are married. But after a month or so updating status like "Both feeling Bored at home" "Watching Movie", I mean this is height of Foolishness. To add some more to that I have also seen them commenting on each other POSTS and that was never ending. Common staying at the same premises and commenting on each other post, it does not get you any Fame but you make you self look like a FOOL.
> I have also come across many of the FAKE ACCOUNTS. Some one will upload a CUTE Girl's Pic and then create a Profile and what next. you can see that thousands and thousands of Likes and comments will be raining like Cats and Dogs. Where as a GUY who has just recently had a haircut and had updated the PIC needs to be hunting for LIKES and Comments.
> Now the most important thing why I do not like FACEBOOK is that many of the UNWANTED CREATURES have started creating FAKE accounts and then try to take away some one's HARD earned money. Many cases of such Fraudulent activities has been already noticed.
Now enough of writing, overall I was happy using Facebook as it is a great platform where we can meet our OLD friends also make some new ones. But some people have taken this to too far extent and thus have made FACEBOOK as a Virtual Garbage.
Use Facebook but always know your limit:)
