Excellent order execution!. Review on Fabmart

This summer I have taken JAVA classes. During my classes I needed Java 2 Complete Reference, a book by Patrick Naughton. I had many options to buy from. One being normal bookstores. But I chose Fabmart.com just for curiosity as I wanted to see how exactly shopping portals like FabMart in India work. Happily, I received my book from FabMart in 3 days(the morning of the 3rd day) as promised. Here is my complete review:

Site Interface--

When I first visited FabMart.com, the homepage has a welcome sign and clearly gives you all the categories that you can shop in. This is really helpful especially in cases like mine where I knew exactly what I wanted(a book in this case) and it feels good when you can get to the category you want to in one click from the homepage. However, I think they should consider modifing the images of the category names as they are quite dull in color.

Once I reached the book category, I search for ''JAVA'' keyword. It pulled many results but luckily I found the book I needed right on the second page. From there, I was quickly able to see the prices and overall info. about the book. Anyways, the next thing that I wanted to know more about was about their delivery and shipping costs. I got info. on both of these things fairly quickly once I went to the Help section.

Pricing and Delivery--

Pricing at FabMart is not what I expected! My thinking was that since its Dot-Com in India it would have really hike prices. But all this thinking soon became a history after I found out that they offer 10% discount on all books and just Rs. 5 shipping! That is nothing compared to going to going to a local bookstore and buying it.

FabMart.com site says books usually are shipped within 3 days. Well, all this was proved true this morning they successfully delivered the book to my house.

Payment Options--

This is the only place where FabMart may want to look at. Although on their site they say cash on delivery option is available, it is only available to orders within Banglore. I was lucky to have someone here with a credit card but still most in India would prefer cash on delivery(including me!)

Overall--

Overall? You can guess... 5 stars to their service. Order was very nicely handled. Just hope this is how all of their orders are executed.

To answer Kamini's question, the delivery time depends from product to product and also place to place(i think.. but not 100% positive). Just check thier site and I am sure you will be able to find it.
