We have purchased a Faber HeatKraft 4 burner Auto Ignition hob for our home. The problem with this product is that the knobs do not have any lock. So it is very easy to accidentally turn on the knob while you are cleaning the hob. This is a very dangerous situation since many times you would not notice this till much later.
Our previous stove from Gilma was much cheaper than this, but we never had any problem with it for the five years we used it. Then we decided to buy a new stove for our new house and thought we would go in for the Faber product since many people told us this was the best product in the market. But I would definitely advise anyone against buying this product.
We also bought the Faber chimney along with the hob but have been unhappy with that also, since the chimney causes a lot of noise when switched on and there are many new chimneys in the market which are really silent compared to the Faber chimney.
