I went to this place first time, just 2 days back. Outside the place, its dust and parking The place inside is very small, even the waiters standing in a corner seems like they're standing above your head.
The AC was not at all effective. Most of the starters are deep fried and some of them in besan or maida, whereas in chinese the cooking is not much oily and fried. When I went there, we ordered for a platter - non-veg, which included a soup, 3 pcs of wantons, a serving of rice , a serving of noodles, a gravy - manchurian (well it was without munchurian balls), and an ice cream.
We liked the food and the platter cost. The problem started when we asked for ice cream. The waiter was very rough and rude. He asked which ice cream you would like to have. We thinking that there must be an option in the platter, asked him what options are there, so he names 3-4 (whereas in the platter, it was only vanilla ice cream and otherwise they had 3-4 other options) we ordered for honey-peanuts ice cream thinking that he has given us options inside the platter.
The ice cream was very yummy, but after we went to pay the bill, they charged for the ice cream separately, when asked why, he told us, that we have ordered the ice cream outside the platter limitation. When asked for the details, he said that he had given us all the ice cream options and not only inside-platter options. We told him that he should have clearly mentioned this to us earlier.
He said, you didn't asked for details and asked for the ice cream options only. We found it very ditching and confusing. We even told him to reduce the extra amount charged (which was Rs.95/- for 2 scoops only)for this ice cream as we never asked him to give us outside plater, to which he plainly refused. Well, food was okok but the manner we were served there was not good at all. I am not going to go there again. Bercos is much better service compared to this and its just outside Fa-yian only with very reasonable prices.
