I love to hear FM Radio while I drive to work. Mostly the preferred channel for me is Radio One as long as it does not broadcast the Traffic Update and the Birthday Bakra. All was okay and the programme quality was great till they introduced the Traffic Update with someone braying and bleating before saying something which sounds very obnoxious. What they should do instead is to get a sponsor so that they can generate some revenue and have some innovative professional who can announce the Traffic Updates. Why wait so long for the braying to finish and then announce the traffic updates after Prithvi finishes his gasping etc.
TheBERTHEYDEAY BAKARAis possibly the MOST BORING programme going around. I fail to understand why Radio One is still hanging around with such programmes. It’s like "An Old Man Clinging on to a Sinking Boat". Be innovative and professional in your programmes so that you have maximum listeners. Its not enough that the listeners have to bear with the monotonous voice of Prithvi, he goes a step further with some crude interruptions and PJs while the music goes on. Please send him to some professional training cell for refining his skills. Ghanta Singh. Chamarajpet Charles and Professor Ulfat Sultan are your saving grace. Keep them on even if you get sunk by the immature RJs.
RJs/DJs are talented individuals with good knowledge of music. Use them effectively rather than making them announce advertisements etc. They really sound awful in that role.
My last suggestion and a very important one is that let the RJs use Hindi or Kannada as the medium rather that announce in English. They just cannot speak good English
