I am a regular listener of FM 94.3. besides being entertaining, it is one of those channels that plays hindi music predominantly. the quality is good & the RJ's also speak in english. I used to be a regular listener of radio city, but now it has so much of the local language - the songs, the RJ's speak it & even the contests are in the local lingo! to add to your misery, there are just too many ads.
it finally got a little frustrating for me & I swtiched loyalties to radio one. I usually listen to it in the morning & evening time. I want to talk about 2 programs in particular - both are played in the morning time
The RJ calls people to tell them what a lousy employee they are & they should quit
a program called detective phataphat (or something like that) - where the RJ will "investigate & interrogate" people. so anyone who suspects somebody for whatever reason, needs to simply call radio one & these guys will do the jasoosi for u to get to the "truth"
i am not sure if I would want to receive such calls & place my woes on air! for christ sake - sort out your differences & doubts in private man. Also I wouldn't want to receive calls to tell me that I am a lousy employee & then to be told later that it was a joke. is there a limit to being "sporting"? waar subah subah koi bakwaas karega. Its not funny and it kind of sets the tone for the day but otherwise this station is entertaining and these are my views. There are people who might see this as fun, obviously, cos how else wud this programe still be on air??
