Lets make some Noise. Review on FL Studio 5

Atlast Flstudio is back with lots of tools and goodies in bag.Flstudio is not just a sequencer but also editor,mixer,loop generator.It is complete audio production suite that Defeats competitors like Reason,Orion.Flstudio in its 4th release brought plugins like Sytrus,Keys,Slayer,Boobass,Wave traveller that allowed the producer to bring more life in its production.With every New release Fruityloops is becoming more easier for newbies.This is my second review on Fruityloops at mouthshut..

New Version What's New?

Including Code upgrade and Bug Fixes there are so many areas where FL studio is improved.That Include

1.Playlist Drawing

2.Automation Clips

3.Key limiter,Flipper

4.Audio clips time stretching

5.Loop Recording/Overdub facility

6.Improved arpegiator

6.Rewire Host lets you connect with another app like reason,rebirth,cakewalk etc.

Out of these 6 improvements,Automation is new concept and it takes time for me to learn.Any veterean can learn this in few minutes I think.User interfce is also much more improved.

Installation takes soem time as it is having more size than any other previous release.What you can see is Yet another Great song in Whatsnew.flp

Collab

This new feature included in the setup is useful for producer those who wants to update their collabration projects without need of downlaoding file.This feature also allows chat facility between two collabing parties.This is excellent feature if you have the internet connection.

Plugins

Plugins like Video player that lets you synchronise video with your song.it doesn't allow saving video file with audio but in future it will,with some additional cost ofcourse.

Waveshaper is good for distortion sampling this is good for techno type genres.Some old plugins line Granuliser,Drumsynth are revamped.fruity slicer support Recycle loops also.It also have free wave editor inside that lets you edit,cut paste your wav or mp3 sample.There are lot of improvements you can only understand as per your exploration in it.

Pros and Cons

Yes it is another Great release that replaced many standalone editors and sequencers.It is much more better than Orion.It can't beat the reason yet but atleast product is enough improved that it is comparable with Reason and Rebirth.Lots of plugins and Samples,riffs that pushes boundry of electronica genre.Now this product is suitable for all genres.

Even if the updates are free for edition you ordered,Plugins are still paid for every major upgrade.So it is impossible to buy plugin for each beta release.Plugins like DX10,Wasp,Simsynth are shipped since 2nd release but there is no improvement in their quality,no addins at all.

Cost of the product is also increased for Box pack addition as most of users purchase it.Upgrade option is not availbale for the Box pack edition.With each new release of Fl studio it is very difficult to purchase it.

Overall the product got its quality.Once you get your hands dirty with it,You'll come up with some good tune no doubt.Before going for orion or rebirth check it once.
