Soundbar is just the cloud nine for music lovers particularly when there is a brand, that has sound expertise in its core. F&D is renowned for good quality @ reasonable prices, so I wanted; & for sound bars it is said that it is not a new technology but its very popular these days. And its very true also.
The concept perfectly fits when one does not want to extend himself to a 5.1 system(either due to space or cabling issues, etc.), yet one does not want to compromise in the result. And it is said that it gives you the virtual effect of a home theater which is also true. It perfectly fits into drawing room or a big bedroom.
Moving further to this model, prior it was very tough for me to buy this model, online. As going only by the brand & reviews without hearing the result. But I had confidence on both the things. The model is giving perfect results as I had thought; Its actually amazing.
The crystal sound was the main concern for me along with the bass effect too, & in both the parameters I am more than happy. The other main feature, which is actually a core point is the loudness & melodiousness in sound, which far more exceeds the expectations. Even at loud volumes it is not troubled.
The other features that it loudly says are, the design is very sleek as it is visible in the snap, the woofer is WiFi connected with the bar which is also desirable, i.e. one can place it in any nearby desirable areas. The volumes of bar & woofer are separately controlled, & even can be used without the woofer also. There are pre defined equalizer settings, of which rock is superb.
The large LED Display is also eye catchy. The remote is very compact and rugged. The bar can be mounted on the wall which is its proper allocation, & woofer to be placed on the floor, which in some music actually vibrates the floor. Backed by the assurance of F&D, its just on for the music lovers. The product is such that even can be applied in small commercial uses too.
The technical portion is output of 80 watts which includes 40 of woofer and same way 40 of bar. Input options are, there is HDMI & RCA i.e. red & white cables too, only thing is USB is not there. My main purpose is hearing songs & secondly watching movies. I am using it in my bedroom connected to my Dell PC.
Talking of Snapdeal, the dispatch was not so prompt & had to wait eagerly for the delivery of the product, packing and unpacking was convenient & found myself happy that no other issues happened(in product/delivery) as had read in many other reviews.
Initially we had pairing issues i.e. the bar & the woofer to be connected in WiFi mode, could not be paired and had to wait for nearly two days for the service engineer’s visit, so it was bit a bitter feel. But overall as I said was very content. I am just lovein it.
