I wanted to buy a ticket for 3 of us to travel on 26th of July from Coimbatore to Hyderabad. Since the tickets were very expensive on those days, I was waiting a good deal from some of the airline agents.
On 13th May 2011, I got the sms from ezeego1, that there is a 50% cashback available under Deal for the day. The total ticket amount was 14, 800 , out of which base fare was around 7800. so, as per the deal, I should be getting a discount of 3900 Rs. That is a very good discount in my view and the tickets were falling in my budget, courtesy ezeego1 deal.
I checked the terms and conditions of the deal given on the site, to check if there is any ceiling on the discount per ticket. There was none. Still to confirm, I called up their customer care and confirmed. The customer care was very friendly. They provided me all the details and also assured that I will be getting the cash back on my credit card within 7 working days. However, they insisted on booking on phone. I wanted to book online, so I did not go ahead with phone booking, and booked the ticket on the same day online.
Reading the reviews on MS, I was very suspicious that I will really get the cashback within 7 days. So, to make sure , I wrote a mail to their customer care. Next day, I got the reply from ezeego1 that I will be getting the cashback as per the deal within 7 working days. After 3-4 days, to confirm again, I called up their customer care. They said that they could see the booking but could not confirm the amount of cashback as that will get updated only after 7 working days. So, that was a bit disappointment, as I was hoping to get the confirmation on the amount too.
Anyways, today is a lucky day. I got the mail from ezeego1 that the cashback of 3900 has been credited to my credit card. I checked my credit card account and it is there. So, it has been a good experience overall. Thanks Ezeego1 for giving a good experience of online air ticket shopping. Keep it up.
