We had placed one order on a website for a tablet pc.(140812) And after 15 days of placing the order the item was shipped (010912) unfortunately or fortunately through this esteemed courier express it. I am afraid there may be really big problem with this courier.
a) The item reached (at least their website shows so) my town on 040912. But even after 8 days(12.sep.12) they could not deliver the product.
b) The website lists central customer care. the website is quite fast. When I call them each time they promise they will deliver it in next 24/48 hours but they could not.
c) Today I asked the customer service the address of city office where I stay. They told me LG 22, Bansi Trade centre. Surprisingly when I went to that place last Saturday (I got the address from internet search) the shop banner was reading something else. Then I asked the neighboring shop which also houses a courier. They told me they are 'NOT' aware of this firm. 'Hame pata nahi hain.'
d) I am afraid some thing is problematic with this firm at least in the city where I stay. Other may comment about their location whether they are receiving or not.
e)Today I called them again and as usual they promised by Friday they will deliver the packet. But I have my doubts. update in the evening ~ 8PM : Wow!
In this connection Just now I spoke to the local number of the 'express it' courier which was not working for the last 10 days.It seems the courier office was also shifted to new place which their central office is NOT aware. After speaking to the local courier office the concerned person told me that the packet will be hopefully delivered by tomorrow. My hopes had increased now. It is surprising that their central mumbai office is not aware of this shifting business). let us see what happens.
Btw, it is after my persuasion that the local in-charge was telling his delivery boy ' Deepak kal delivery kar de yaar - karoge na' . My god this is what we call professionalism. That too with a name tag "express it'.
