I flow with excel airways out of LGW to Alicante and back. The used a B737-800 (the one in the pic) on both sectors and they were very good planes - leather seats, LCD flip down over head screens with one movie each way and the movies were new releases, FREE in flight meals, free drinks and very good staff. The only draw back was the horrible waiting time to check in! We left at least 10 - 15 minutes early both ways and arrived about 1/2 hr to Alicante. We had 3 crew in the cabin and they were ver generous outward and inward we had about 5 - 6! Baggage collection was easy as our bags were first out! both ways! Seating is in leather seats and has the usall charter airlines seat pitch. Only thing is if we had missed the homeward bound flight we would have been stuck in alicante for 3 days!
