We booked a 6 seater dining table on 11th August, 2012 - Model was Amazon. I was supposed to get the delivery on 30th August which was already too late in my opinion. But I got the delivery on 1st Sep which was 2 days late from committed date. That was not an issue but I was shocked to see that chairs were not the one that we ordered!. We spoke to Sales Manager and he assured us that we will get our chairs on 14th Sept and that was almost a month since we ordered.
We waited for another 15 days to get the chairs that we originally ordered. Finally on 15th Sep, we got to know that the chairs arrived at Bangalore showroom but were damaged. Yet again, after waiting for more than a month and couple of false commitments we almost gave up any hopes and were ready to return the dining table and ask for refund. We sopke again to Store Manager and hes assured that they will deliver the right charis on 23rd Sep, (almost 45 days from date of booking!).
We started to wait for THE date(23rd Sep) to get the chairs we ordered. And finally, we were happy to see the chairs reach our home on the said date. But we were even more surprised this time to see that the chairs we received were damaged. There were number of issues with the chairs(see attached photos):
The cushion color of the chairs were different and doesn't match with each other.
The cushions were very dirty.
Some chairs were not leveled with ground.
Also, the original chairs and table both have termites and are damaged(see attached again). The product cost was almost 50, 000 and I think it has gone in drain. Seems like none of the Evok personnel care to resolve this issue.
My sincere advise is, please stay away from Evok.
