Based on the media hype, I watched the movie in IMAX 3D and it was a decent experience. The movie is about the tragedy that killed 8 people during the everest conquest in 1996. The cinematography of this movie is splendid.
The shots that were taken on Mt Everest and its surrounding is so beautiful and breathtaking. In the IMAX, You can actually feel as if you are part of the expedition and you can feel the agony and pain and fear of the climbers as they decend.Director has stick to the facts and story hence it gives a very honest and true feeling to the audience. Kudos to all the people!
Personally I feel the story could have been built in a better way to show more of the climb, the thrills about ascend etc to give the movie goers more of the majestic mountain climbing experience but over all this movie is really a treat to watch and I am glad to have had the IMAX experience.So dont think too much.this movie is worth watching . double thumbs up from me!
