First, let me start with the one primary issue. IT Stopped WORKING on its 7 th month.
Overall, I like the product in its initial six months of working. It got great brightness, sleek and useful design, fast charging, 2 lighting modes etc. Being bought online, I got it on a nice deal too. For around INR 800.
The built of the lamp of good. LED are arranged in a angle and it can be used vertically or horizontally. I used it as in-line emergency lamp so that it can be plugged into main AC line all the time. This makes it to provide light whenever there is a power cut or electricity failure. It got 2 lighting modes: 1) low light with 20 LED and 2) with 30 LED. Though you don't feel much difference in lighting if lit within a medium room or a medium hall.
It STOPPED working just over 6 months. One day, it didn't kick on lighting when electricity failed. I tried pulling strings, adjusted switch to various positions, but no success. Then I searched many sites and found similar cases where it stopped just over 6 months. And surprisingly the warranty is just for 6 months.
Its not better than any chinese lamp where you just need to pay around 200 INR for a ok quality and with approx same light brightness. THey will last for at least 2-3 months and then too its more cost-efficient than this one. Normal price for this one is around 1000+ INR, which is never worth the money.
Cons:
delay in start lighting when electricity fails. Observed a delay of 2-5 seconds to start lighting
The pull string feels fragile
No customer support. Website query to Eveready went unanwered. Service centre does not have any phone number
Just last only 6 months and similar cases for many customers in various online sites review
Not better than any other chinese emergency lamp where you only need to pay 1/4 th of this price. It's just a glorified chinese quality product, just meant for 6 months
My advice is NEVER go for this. Its a failed product with NO Customer Support.
