A laughter trip!. Review on Eurotrip Movie

COMEDY AT A HIGHER LEVEL

I never had the habit of watching Hollywood comedy movies, even if I enjoyed Johny English and Scary Movie 3. I have to say that this movie Euro Trip is a different experience, not like the other comedy movies even if I haven't seen Road Trip which is supposed to be a similiar experience.

This movie, even if it has more than enough nudity to deserve the ''R'' rating and lots of them that we cannot try to censor it, the movie certainly is fun to watch. Some of the jokes in the movie are more than enjoyable, surely better than American Pie.

THE TRIP

Scott Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz), after being dumped by his girl friend Fiona (Kristin Kreuk), is in love with his penpal Mieke (Jessica Boehrs) after being in contact with her for years, but never actually seeing her. When he comes to know that she is a girl (He initially misunderstood that she was male with the name Mike), he just wants to meet her at any cost. But due to some misunderstanding, she had blocked his e-mail address.

Thus he decides to travel all the way to Berlin from Ohio and find her. He is accompanied by his friends Cooper Harris (Jacob Pitts), Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg) and her brother Jamie (Travis Wester). On their way to Berlin, they manages to go through Amsterdam, London, Paris, Rome etc with a series of adventures.

DON'T TELL SCOTTY

The sound track of the movie is really interesting, especially the song ''Scotty doesn't know'' which is even more catchy tune if heard after watching the movie. Another funny one from the movie is ''My baby takes the morning train''. These songs got not only some interesting tones, but also some funny https://lyrics.

Almost all the actors and actresses in the movie seemed rather unknown to me, but the good thing is that everyone seems to have did a good enough job, especially Cooper on his search for ''crazy European sex in the land of his perverted forefathers''. His interactions with Jenny has been extremely funny. Scott plays the sentimental lover boy very well and Travis Wester was great as Jamie.

SOME GOOD WORK

The plot of the movie may not sound much catchy, but the comedy elements are made in such a way that the movie will be something more than a usual comedy movie. I have to say that this movie made Scary Movie look like the Zimbawe cricket team infront of the Aussies. I wonder if this movie is inspiring me for a real European Tour!

The only flaw that could be seen was the final half of the movie wasn't as interesting as the beginning as the amount of logic was coming down from the top. It can be also termed as a bit of overdoing, but still it does end well - we all love happy endings, don't we? Well, if you are looking for a humurous movie, this is the one.....
