I would like to bring to your notice the following transaction with the Pune sales office and the problems encountered by me which still remains unsolved** and the foregoing paragraphs are self-explanatory:
A Sales person Pune office finalized the above water purification system vide his order reference 520482 dated 7.6.10 and collected an advance of Rs. 1000/-. He promised delivery and installation of the unit within 48 hours. But the unit arrived in my place on 15th June 2010(a week later) and the installation took place on 17th June.
I have been running the unit till 17th August without any problem. The problem started on 18th August, when I found a few small white worms in the water collected from the unit. I was initially surprised to see the worms and cleaned the vessel and also drained out the water from the filter for a few minutes before collecting fresh water. To my utter surprise and shock, I found the worms once again floating in the water collected. I also found that the green light was not glowing in the unit.
I immediately stopped using the unit and contacted the sales person and explained to him the above problems and the requested him to attend to the complaints immediately taking into account the serious nature of the complaint. Though he promised to come immediately, he came on 19th evening and collected water sample. I had expressed my concern and anguish that an Aquaguard unit is dispensing water with worms. It is never heard of that a most renowned, well accepted and leading water purifier brand such as yours should dispense water with worms. I say this from my experience of using some other model of yours in Chennai for almost a decade. The Sales and Service personnel in Chennai were quite customer friendly and I never experienced any problem either from the unit or from your personnel.
Hence I strongly expressed my conclusion that there must be some manufacturing/Quality Assurance problem in the unit installed in my house and requested him to replace the same with a fresh one immediately. He then promised that if there is a problem in the unit, it will be replaced immediately and promised to send a service engineer immediately, to study the machine and report to him.
Since no one attended to this complaint, I once again rang up to remind him when he advised me to call on Tele No: 25881991 to register my complaint. No one visited my house inspite of registering my complaint and hence I again rang up to customer care no and registered my complaint under reference No 59177651.
Thereafter one service person visited my house on 21st August and informed me that he has been instructed to service the unit. When I specifically asked him about my complaints, he confessed that he is not aware of my specific problems since he has no instructions from his office about my complaints.*
He promised to come back on 23rd August to attend to the specific problems, but till today neither any service engineer has visited, nor any communication received from any of your offices(Sales or Service). *
The organization has no value for a client and has no regard for the urgency and criticality of fixing a dysfunctional water purifier, which can be life threatening, I have lost the total faith in the product, the services and also in the various claims that they make. From the time of complaint to till date, I have not used the water purifier and forced to use boiled water for our consumption.
