Ok before I waste your time let me make it very very simple. It is a great product but sold by a bunch of trained and skilled liars with pathetic after sales service who will cheat you and rip you and drink the last blood from you and leave you to rot and die. This happens when warranty is over!!!


PLEASE PAY ATTENTION AND READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE COMPLETELY AND BE ARMED AND EDUCATED BEFORE YOU BUY. IMAGINE THE AMOUNT OF TIME AND EFFORT I HAVE SPENT FOR YOU. THIS IS NOT FOR YOUR APPRECIATION BUT FOR YOUR INFORMATION WHEN YOU DEAL WITH EUREKA FORBES


OK OKOK now first decide do you need this product. yes it is great to have ths product well let me clear you first this product is very very useful if you have a crawly creepy toddler around the house or a hiary dog like my german sheppard or


it is important if you have a child below the age of 2 years and necessity in case your child is less than 8 months and if u live in a tropical place like india.


advantages of this machine.


The most important is the mopping.


I bought just for the mop. it really sucks all the dust mites all the phenoel oil, nasty things you walk in after stamping outside. it is just greatttt. and wonderful.


for a house like mine 1000+ sq feet if I fo well it takes roughly 1 hour and if my maid does maybe 45 minutes cause I am thorough and clear in what I do.


the machine is GREAT no doubt it is a boon.


i spent 10000/- knowing very well the warranty comes for 365 days only.


i used to use this machine DAILY. yes daily.


now comes the WARNINGS.


the night I bought it I wanted to test it so I started using it well in 25 minutes the hose pipe bend which connects to the ''extenders'' just breaks in the sense like cheap plastic it just TORE apart on one side.


i called them and the sales man a native from my grand father village I found out in tirunevelli district was so sorry because we are having common roots wanted to replace the whole machine.


I felt bad not because he is from the same root but I am a sales man and a product designer too and I know how it feels to be on the wrong side of the table. I said no need mr.S just send me the part alone which TORE???!!! (yeah man it tore like a piece of well like a few slice of bread)


i got it done.


You know I come from Chennai the second most saline city in India.


All the screws and nuts and bolts and fasteners of this machine is made of cheap metal and with low platting thickness and alloy combination they just RUST like well I have no comp[arison but to say eureka forbes WD hahaha.


well the bucket srews handles were the first to go. I have to call and hound and get it done.


they had the odesity to tell me that the warranty is just for the motor.


NOW PAY ATTENTION THE WARRANTY CARD SAY MACHINE AND THIS MEANS THE WHOLW PRODUCT WELL NOT INCLUDING THE PACKAGING BUT EVERY THING ELSE


this man tried to pulll a fast one on my smarter wife, who sweetly asked him which page does it say. well they got he message then well repaired it reahter replaced the spring that is inside the lock of the extension hose which connects the hose to the bottom bucket. THIS IS THE MOST VULNERABLE PART OF THE MACHINE AS YOU PULL THE MACHINE AS DEMONSTRATED AND ADVICED BY THE SALES MEN .


well that small piece of spring just rust and breaks well atleast once a month. and they replaced JUST the sprin while in warranty.


then comes the trolly wheels a piece of well bad alloy axles which also rust and well get stuck. and yeah they will say no warranty for that ask again which page.


the mopping kit. this kit has a rubber piece at the bottom which actually helps you suck up the water and dirt by creating a vaccum. Idealy it will last you 18 months if you use it daily.


13 month now well I understand the warranty is over so I call the wise men there in service and well they say they cannot replace it. I said well honey I am paying for it no freebies please. they said ofcourse u have to darling but well not just the spring for the lock nor just the wheels on the trolley but the whole set and hose the whole damn hose can u belive it .


well well I said hello mr. wise man but you did not replace the whole hose under warranty only the spring u changed.


now I asked for the rubber guide that is below the mopping device or whaterver. they said sorry you have to buy the whole set not just the rubber. COMMON man I said it is just consumable like a tyre in a car and it is not part of the set but just happens to be mounted on it.


as you know at the time of selling this my village root mr. s tole me each and every things is available as individual unit and I asked him about this rubber specificaly and they said yes.


i called the service and well was little bit stern and sweet and the man said many complaints comes and only when customers threaten and raise a issue or consumer court they give it and was adiced to do the same with the supervisor.


when I called he smirked and well said sorryy and hung up.


so I call corporate office and well posed as the child hood friend of the VP marketing and asked for his number. got it :) now I ma becoming smarter like the eureka forbes sales man .


called this man and explained and he took my number then comes a call from chennai zonal office and one j speaks


now this man says give me 48 hours I will rectify the problem. tomorrow evening it ends I mean the 48 hours. let us see. so be prepared about the spare and the rust problem and some nasty mean blodd suckers of service staff who think we the people are all dumb arse who will but but will not use it everydya. BUT HEY IT IS REALLY USEFUL WHEN KIDS ARE AROUND. YES IT IS NECESSARY. MY SECOND ONE IS DUE IN MAY 2006 SO I AM GETTING THIS READY AND HAVE ASKED FOR 2-3 SETS OF THESE CONSUMABLES RIGHT AWAY SO I NEED NOT CALL MUMBAI AND POSE AS THE VP CHILD HOOD FRIEND. hhahahaha so beware.
