Ironically, I am writing this as a user of not 1 but 3 of Eureka Forbes products (Aquagard, Vacuum Cleaner & Air Purifier). What can I say? They have some slick salesmen who unethically sell products they have absolutely no interest in servicing. I am writing about the air purifer Euroair Geneus. I used this product for a little over 6 months before the air filter clogged up. It should be a simple matter to replace the filter. But I have made literally dozens of calls to get a replacement filter - without any positive effect.
What I heard is that there are no filters available as the product has been deprecated! How can the salesman sell a Rs. 10, 0000 product less that 2 years back if the company has no intention of supporting it? The service center people are unashamed in their brazenness. They tell you "yes sir, yes sir, we are working on getting you the replacement from the factory" without any sense of guilt for months on end! I even spoke with one alleged Manager Mr. Manoj Kumar (phone 080 32448826) who keeps saying that he will get something in a few weeks. I gave up after trying for about 6 months. I even posted a complaint on their web site - of course no one even bothered to call me and follow up. My advise to all of you stay away from Eureka Forbes and their products. If you use them, it will be to your own grief in wasted time and money eventually.
I have already stopped using the Aquagard water purifier out of disgust and will be dumping the vacuum cleaner too shortly. If anyone from Eureka Forbes is reading this, contact me, if you have any sense of ethics.
