I have made one of the biggest mistakes in life by purchasing Aquaguard RO Enhance - Eureka Forbes product.


After coming back from US and starting our life in Chennai around end of November 2011. we were quite satisfied with the regular canned/ bottled water available at the nearest store. First week of December one Sales person from Eureka Forbes came to sell the Aquaguard product. We have heard about the poor service and a lot of negatives about the company and their product. His behabiour was also not at all friendly and very rude. I think his name was Mr. Antao/ Anto from the Ramapuram Chennai Branch. We carefully refused him this time. Again after about a week another Sales person G. Kumar came with the same product.


This time unfortunately we were trapped in the false commitments given by Mr.Kumar. He said if we buy the product immediately and give a cheque the same day he will give a cover free. I think this was may be around 10th of December. He also said I can give a post dated cheque of December 18th.Next day he delivered and installed the machine but he said he missedto bring the cover which he will deliver the following day. I kept on following atleast 2-3 times a day daily and he comfortably kept on committing for the same for the following day. After 18th December since when the cheque got realised he stopped picking up and responding to my phone. PROBABLY I SHOULD HAVE STOPPED THE PAYMENT. But couldn't do that since that doesn't go with my nature.


Still I kept following upwith their Ramapuram Branch but didn't see any result.


On Jan26th and again on February 1st 2012 I lodged a complaint with the Customer Care and since then have been following up with atleast 5 phone calls a day. Everytime they confirm and commit that the issue will be resolved within 24 hours - but today March 8th still I am yet to see the result.


By now I know the names of almost all the staff in the call center(Samina, Viji, Srinivasan, Noorjahan, Raja, Raju, Veera, Maniyan, Sasi, SARAN, David, VIJAY, Vinoth, VIJAY PRAKASH, Mohammad, Dhanalakshmi, Vignesh, Anbu, Lavanya, Latha, Venkat.) - even spoke with thye Sales Manager - Sathish Kumar, Area Branch Manager - Mr Raja, from Cutomer Relation Ms. Anuradha, Ms. Akila. The amount of money I have spent over phone possibly I could buy a few covers myself. But to my surprise this is the status of this company. I thought with persistent folow up I will see some result but


PROBABLY OR RATHER I MUST SAY ANYWAY IT'S MY MISTAKE THAT I SOMEHOW BELIEVED ON THE COMPANY AND THEIR WORDS. MOST LIKELY I SHOULD GIVE UP ALL THE HOPE AND STOP FOLLOWING UP ANY FURTHER. ANYWAYS LESSONS LEARNT AND GOT RECONFIRMED ABOUT THE COMPANY BRAND. Unfortunately sorry to say this but this is what my personal experience is.


"DEAR EUREKA FORBES PERSONNEL - THE MISTAKE IS MINE SINCE I WENT AHEAD AND PURCHASED YOUR PRODUCT. HOWEVER WILL NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE IN MY FUTURE AGAIN AND WILL KEEP MYSELF AWAY FROM ALL YOUR PRODUCTS."
