This is really a sorry state of affair that Indian companies making consumer durables take Indian consumer as one of the most foolish consumers in the world. One of the reason behind it is that Indian consumer courts are still not easy to approach or people do not find them in that way. Now coming to the point: this is one of the worst product of eureka forbes I have ever come across.
It don’t run properly even for a month. The company has used worst spares to make it. And the other grim side of this product is that its spare parts are very costly. The companies servicing policy is also very costly the running cost of this purifier is more than Rs 500/- a month. It cannot resist a small voltage fluctuation, the worst thing of this machine is its electrical parts. It uses third class AC DC adapter which goes off very frequently and it costs your pocket to a tune of Rs 2500-2700.
Therefore, do not go for eureka forbes RO filters. readers may kindly not think that I live in an area where voltage fluctuation is frequent.. Actually in my area there is no fluctuation. As a precautionary measure I used this purifier with V Guard stabilizer but still I had to face what I have explained above. A further information of importance is that on opening the backside of the machine by the technician of eureka forbes I found that the Adapter is Made by an Indian Company namely Aggressive Electronics Manufacturing Service.
I immediately searched on Internet about the company. I mailed to the CEO of the company about the failure of his product and the exorbitant price charged by the eureka forbes for replacement thereof . I was astonished to know from him that these adapters cost much less than what Eureka Forbes charges from their customers i.e. Rs 2700 and more .
