Eureka Forbes is surely the worst company in this segment in products and services.


Let me narrate the whole story then you guys decide whether to purchase from them or not.


My customer ID is 8000030584. I had purchased this product on 25th May 2015 with online purchase. To my first surprise I did not received order confirmation mail / dispatch mail from company. Thank god I had taken snapshot of final screen when transaction was complete which helped me to convey my customer id to sales person who visited my home for demo to get the product delivered. However I had to follow up constantly. Consider this experience with the other online transaction you do with e-commerce companies even the product is worth Rs.100/-. Here you shell out Rs.17490/-. Please forget about the sales invoice of the product. For that also you need to follow up. I thought this is just minor incidence and was excited about the new product.


After I received the product on 30th May and installed on 31st Real nightmare started.


Installation guy told me to rinse it 2-3 times before drinking water. We followed instruction and rinsed it 3 times. When I drank water for first time for my surprise it smelled very bad like some sort of 3rd grade plastic container or newly purchased Styrofoam / yoga mat. Then I rinsed it 3 times more but smell remained as it is. Then I called local sales guy who visited my home for the problem he sent the installation guy who tasted water and suggested to lodge the complaint with service department and told they will replace some part after that this smell will go. I called customer care number and after much follow up they arranged person to rectify the problem. He opened product and cleaned it with lemon juice and rinsed 2-3 times and went. For my surprise smell was still there. Meanwhile 15 days had past in all this and I was fed up with constant follow up and poor service. I decided to return the product and reclaim my money paid.


I went on the Eureka Forbes website where they claim 30 day money back guarantee for the product purchased. I logged my claim for money back for which I got #315 as confirmation no but till date they have not refunded my money neither taken back their faulty product.


I lodged complaint id 92134917 and their customer care executives assured me that product will be returned and money refunded in 2days however till date they have not fulfilled any of their promises. No one from Eureka forbes like their customer care executives, their customer care office Mr. Harish, his boss Vinit Jain, their Pune regional office person Vishal Doke were unresponsive.


As last resort I hired lawyer and went to consumer forum. They suggested to write a mail on pain paper and give 10 days time to resolve the issue and send it through registered post which I did on 13th July 2015. Their regional person Mr. Vishal Doke replied to my mail that they will solve the problem or replace the product.


I told him I don't want replacement of product. Please take back your product and refund my money as I lost all the faith in products and services of Eureka Forbes. I have requested them for refund on 20th June itself till date they have not honored. Their service head Sumant Madhav also knows about this but no one is doing anything.


But sincerely in this entire time what about the suffering which my entire family is going through. Water is every day necessity and it is not vacuum cleaner. You can not respond to customer complaint as and when as per your convenience. I lost all the hope in the personnel of Eureka Forbes.


Now for last time I will try to speak with their regional sales head Mr. Debashish Sarkar and if still it is not rectified I will file the case in consumer court against Eureka Forbes. I am sending the water samples to some good regional water testing labs. If I find something harmful I will definitely publish it here for your benefits.


My rating very poor quality of products and services. Don't purchase to save yourself.
