DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN CONTACTING EUREKA'S CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY TIME. Wherever you buy these items such as at a store, online shopping or somewhere at the end you have to contact Eureka Forbes customer care only if you have problem with the item. My suggestion is, don't buy this thing and waste your time and money.

I purchased it on Eureka Forbes website. I've made  a request for them to test the water and suggest a good purifier. Mr. Sagar, the sales person from Eureka Forbes called me and said "I see that your PIN code is already with us and we've already tested the water in your area, the best purifier is Dr. Aquaguard Geneus ". So, I did a small survey outside and the stores are selling it for Rs. 20, 000. But on Eureka Forbes it is Rs. 22, 990/-. So, when he called me back on the next day, I've asked him like what's the best price you can give. He said "you have to pay Rs.22, 990/-". I asked why what's the difference the he said


"THE ITEM IS Dr. Aquaguard GENEUS Plus, THE ITEM WHICH YOU GET OUTSIDE IS Aguaguard GENEUS, there will be one cartridge difference, SO YOU HAVE TO PAY THE COMPLETE AMOUNT AND THERE WON'T BE ANY DISCOUNT".


I asked what are more benefits, he said "30 DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE", if you buy outside you won't get 30 days money back guarantee, but while on our website if you buy the product, we'll refund the amount in case if you are not satisfied with the item.


So, I've placed the order on October 18, 2015, the item is delivered on October 21, 2015. After numerous calls to them for the installation, one guy came and installed it and just went away. He didn't flush the water and made the tub inside clean. He asked us to remove 14 liters of water for the first time, later you can continue using.


We've removed 2 times that is 14 liters of water. But still we're feeling the plastic smell. So we've removed upto 5 times, the same taste remains. So, I've contacted the customer care and they sent one intelligent technician who knows nothing. I forgot to ask his name, otherwise I'd mention it here. He came, and said the purifier is working fine and there is no problem with it, he didn't even touch the purifier and tasted the water but he justified the working of it. I said "man, you taste the water first and then talk about it". He tasted the water and said same. He removed the water from the purifier, filled it again, gave me a sheet, asked me to sign, that's it. He started walking out.


I asked the taste of the water is still plastic, what did you do and why are you walking out. He says "it is RO, UV, UF ", so it is purifying the water. and he left the place. After 1 day, the tap became loose, the same person came home when I raised the complaint on this. He came and saw the loose tap and asked the same question 10 times "is there any leakage? ". I said no, but the tap is loose. He said no problem and started going out. I've called him again and asked him to fix and and then move out. He unscrewed the purifier and fixed it, it took 15 minutes of time to fix this thing. Basically he's lazy to do the work, so he keep saying no problem.


At the 1st of his visit, he tested the water with TDS meter,


Values:


Non purified water value - 137 x 10= 1370


Purified Water Value - 75 x 10= 750.


He said to multiply( 10) for the non purified water, so I'm showing the same value to you here.


I did a survey online checking what should be the TDS value for the drinking water. The value should be less than 500. But for this purifier I'm getting 750, so I shouldn't drink the water. I asked same to the man who came, he said it is "RO  UV  UF ", so you can drink. How dumb people are.


On the second visit when he tested the water, the


Purified Water value is - 97 x 10= 970 which is not at all acceptable value for the drinking water.


Meanwhile, from the day 3 when started using the water from this purifier, we have health issues started. At first I didn't figure out that this is because of the water, but later after I did the survey on TDS Value, I've figured out the throat infection, cough, cold and body pains for other people at home is just because of the water we are drinking.


So, I stopped using this machine and started buying bisleri cans from outside. Here I started calling Eureka Forbes for the refund of money as they have promised me when I'm purchasing it on their website.


I'VE CALLED AROUND 20 TIMES TO THEIR CUSTOMER CARE, they says that my issue is escalated with the higher priority basis and I will get the call in 1 hour. It's been 2 days and no one called me to solve the issue. I'm still calling them to see if the issue gets resolved.


Their customer service is one of the awkward customer services I've ever seen.


On the 15th time when I called them, he said the same, ie. higher priority basis stuff.


I asked him "what should I do if I don't get the call in 1 hour". His answer is "Surely you'll get the call sir".


I asked the same question repeatedly for around 20 to 30 times, he still says "Surely you'll get the call". But where's the call, still I didn't get the call from them.


I just want to let every one know that they are just playing with customers with false advertisements and false information they provide when they come for sales.


PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE THEM AND WASTER YOUR MONEY, WHEN THEY SAY 30 DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE, MAKE SURE THEY REALLY REFUND THE MONEY.


Finally, I spent Rs. 22, 990/- and drinking the water from Bisleri cans where I need to call them every alternate days and ask them to deliver the cans.
