This is Prabhu from Vengaivasal, Chennai. I have bought this purifier on november 2011 and have opted for AMC(Rs 4130) on Nov 2012. I was told that I would be getting 3 free services and any issues related will be addressed and rectified at free of cost. I have changed the filter on Nov 2012. There was a guy from Aquaguard support team, named Jeganathan who used to address my requests. He has come to my home only twice to do the free service. For the 3rd service, without coming to my home, he claims that the service has been done and shows the service registry with someone's signature which is not ours, this is really unethical from Eureka Forbes End.
When we inquired about this to him, he displayed an lethargic behavior to cross check with his office and also never gave his manager's number. Our AMC is supposed to get over on 22 Nov 2013, since the 3rd service was not done. we ourselves placed a request on 18th Nov and no one turned up till 20th. after giving several calls to customer care. Jeganathan came and did the service(!?!?!) and informed us that we need to change the Internal and External Filters and the internal would cost around Rs 3750 and external would be around Rs 350.
He also told that these things will not be covered under AMC(then what the Hell AMC means). He informed that if at all the filter is available only after 22nd, the I need to pay filter cost+ Rs 450+ tax as service charges. Even though the request was placed on 18th, They have purposefully delayed the service and forcing us to pay money from our pocket.
FRIENDS. BEWARE OF AQUAGUARD SERVICE AND SUPPORT. DON"T OPT FOR AMC which is of NO USE. GIVE IT TO SOME THIRD PARTY THEY WOULD DO A BETTER JOB THAN AQUAGUARD SERVICE TEAM.
