This product is like a wrapper around the traditional ZeroB. It uses the same ZeroB candle and some other solution to purify the water. Ideally, they charge 600 for the candle and the solution and 1000 for the container.
The company claims that this purifier can hold upto 18 liters of water. However, its total capacity is 9 liters. The bottom container can hold 9 liters and the top container can hold 9 liters. If the bottom container is full, water starts overflowing.
We tried calling customer care in Bangalore. Somebody from the customer care promised to provide a floater so that water doesn't overflow but he never sent it. After using it for around 5 months, the filter stopped working. Somebody from the customer care came and cleaned it up. Again after a few days it stopped working. I found out that its little tricky to fix the filter and the candle for the smooth flow of water.
This product is not suitable for a big family since it can hold only upto 9 liters of water. One has to keep refilling it after the bottom container gets empty.
The candles has to be cleaned every 15 days ideally. If the water is muddy, it should be cleaned every week.
The top cloth filter gets too dirty because of the mud in the water.
To clean the purifier, you have to empty it. That means you have to wait for at least half an hour to get the purified drinking water from the purifier after cleaning it.
The customer service is pathetic. They don't pick up your phone and if they do, they keep promising about the time somebody will come to fix any issues.
I have lost faith in this company and bought Phillips water purifier now.
