I had bought my AquaSure last year Sept 2008 and it has been performing satisfactorily but of late it is not functioning properly and I am not sure whether I need to change the cartridge or what?
After struggling for some days eg cleaning the carbon filter etc, thought of calling the vendor who supplied it to me and he just passed on some technician's no. saying that he will attend the problem but to my dismay the technician didn't turn up. Then finally, I called the Eureka Forbes customer care no. and she assured that their technician will be attending the problem within 24 hrs. But to my horror this time also I was taken for a ride which definitely I was not expecting at least from Eureka Forbes. As at the time of buying the product, I opted for it believing completely in Eureka Forbes brand name and neglecting HLL PureIt.
Some how I get a feeling that Eureka Forbes don't want to associate it's name with AquaSure that's why they do not display it in their site and even the product catalogues also are separate for the AquaGuard and AquaSure and also the dealers are different for both.
It seems like they entered this segment of the market just for some business compulsion or don't know what, and their prime target is the AquaGuard market only.
I just would like to request Eureka Forbes that if they can not serve the customers themselves at least make the parts like cartridge etc readily available in market so that the customers are not left stranded in the middle and no where to go...
*Hello everyone,
The servicing guy finally turned up and changed the cartridge but guess what instead of giving me cartridge for 18 ltr (my model) he gave me cartridge of 25 ltr. Excuse was he is carrying only that cartridge, so I was left with the choice either accept what's on offer and cough up more money or wait endlessly again. Poor me chose the first option. *
