Looks like Aquaguard has the worst after sales service in the business. I stay at Bangalore and had gone in for an AMC for my Aquaguard. We started seeing strange white particles in the water, after they changed the filters (charged around Rs. 1000/-) as a routine maintenance.
In fact the water going in was cleaner. despite repeated calls to the call center, the problem has not been rectified. The technician came in after a week, took the purifier for "observation", kept it for 10-15 days and returned it in the same condition. The strange white particiles are still coming out! To add to my woes, he broke the case of the purifier, during the "observation" at the service center. Now he is offering to help me find a customer to sell this purifier, as he does not know how to solve the problem.
Calls to the service center are of no use and the company's customer care dept has no accountability. Their business model is to make a quick buck, while selling the product the first time, based on brand name due to their ads. Customers are happy for a few months, when problems start coming they recommend that you "upgrade" to the latest model.
If you really care about your family's health, and want to avoid hassles later, I strongly recommend that you choose any other brand - don't go with Aquaguard.
