First of all I like to say about author if anyone wan to read old scriptures translated, they should go for Eknath Easwaran. I read Bhagavad gita and Upanishands, Eknath commentory on those text are in simple language and the meaning of sentences neither lost. Bhagavad gita is like a pearl in ocean. Lord Krishna preach when Arjuna denied to fight with his brothers. In my view Krishna shows Arjuna true path to enlightenment and motivated him so he can fight against cruel even forgetting kinship. Book is very interesting even there are idea given by krishna how to yoga so we can achieve Awakening side by side karma yoga it like never leave our responsibilities.just do without any expectation of result. do for the sake of work or god. not for benefits. there are lot of knowledge in this book which can change the life of people if they read it by heart:) Recommended one!
