Never go to arctic circle (ice skating rink)

Essel world is supposed to be a decent destination, but here I am not writing a review on Essel World. On the other hand, I am writing a special review of a particular attraction, which is inside Essel World, called as "ARCTIC CIRCLE" or "ICE SKATING RINK".

Even if you buy a ticket for Essel world, you need to separately buy a ticket of Arctic circle, when you are inside Essel world. My suggestion is that if you want to keep your experience of visiting Essel World pleasant, never buy a ticket for Arctic circle due to following reasons:

1) You get to spend a ridiculously low time inside Arctic circle, though you pay quite a handsome amount for that.

2) From outside (i.e. before buying a ticket), you have no clue how does the skating rink look like? How easy or difficult it is to skate on ice? etc etc

3) When you buy a ticket and enter, they give you special skating shoes, and here starts a tortuous journey. Your feet ache like hell after wearing those shoes. After wearing them, you are supposed to enter the skating arena. But as soon as you enter there, the first thing you will experience is that you would fall on a hard, cold ice and trainers around you will give you a sadistic smile instead of helping you.

4) The trainers just keep on skating on their own, and do not take any interest in teaching you the skills. Anyways, its a really really difficult thing to do, and you can never learn in in 15 to 30 minutes.

5) Since you will find it difficult to walk on ice on your own (you will fall every second, and then you will require someone else's support even to stand back as the skating shoes are very edgy), they would ask you to crawl side ways by holding on to the side railing.

6) You will fall many times, hurt you at many places on elbows and knees and all your the so-far pleasant experience of visiting Essel World will turn irritatingly sour.

7) Many people even bled also due to injuries, and had to undergo an X-Ray to confirm that the injury, which initially appears to be a minor one, is not a hair line fracture. When some one falls and bleeds , all they do is take out a band aid from a box full of band aids (which again shows that getting hurt is a common occurrence there) and put it onto the injured portion mechanically.

8) There is a saying that if the product is bad, package it extremely well. The same goes true with Arctic circle. From outside, they have decorated it so well, that you would be tempted to buy a ticket (either viewer or participant). But based on my sad experience, I would strongly recommend you guys not to buy any ticket of Arctic circle. Instead, spend that money in munching something good.

Take care.

Regards
