I AM BECOMING ACCIDENT PRONE: I was in Cardiff in October at a conference for 3 days at a hotel, which I was dressed up a fair bit, I wore a pattern floral blouse & skirt, but during a 30 minute break of the conference I went to soak my feet in the pool, I took off my high heels, put my handbag on the seat and then pulled up my skirt, the skirt had thick lining on the inside of the skirt, then after 5-10 minutes of soaking my feet, I put my tights on and then my high heels, I dropped my key into the swimming pool, whilst wearing high heels, I thought it would be best to lean over the side of the pool rather than removing my high hels but I leaned over the side of the pool to recover my key, as I put down my handbag on the side of the swimming pool I then stumbled right into the swimming pool water with everything on, but minus my handbag, as there was tons of stuff in it, makeup, keys, money, perfume, papers, etc.
Then as I couldn’t get up, so I had to walk out of the swimming pool, the amount of jewellery I had on, was 2 silver bracelets, a good ladies Gold Seiko battery watch worth 150 pounds, a good ladies limit battery watch, also a gold bracelet, a silver locket necklace. When I got out of the pool, a woman came over to ask was I OK, dripping wet, so I told her that I stumbled into the water when I reached over to retrieve my key from the pool, so I said to her that I lost my ring, it was a good dress ring, so I jumped back in with everything on, minus my heels & handbag, but still keeping my watches on, even though they were soaking wet anyway, I couldn’t take my blouse off. So I had to go to my room at the hotel to get changed and redo my makeup etc.
I should have removed my high heels.
