This book is definitely a book to go on your ''to read list.'' It has adventure, magic, romance, and dramatic bits. Christopher Paolini definitely has a knack for writing! He puts a little bit of everything into his books. At the beginning he starts off kind of slow, you just have to get through the first few chapters before you really get into it. Christopher starts off with a small town boy that seems quite normal, not for long. Eragon (the small town boy) finds something that will change the state of his whole kingdom, and that will bring back an almost lost legend. Eragon goes on a amazing journey, where he learns about who he is and what his destiny has in-store for him! I like how towards the end it gets very suspenseful. Christopher had some good ideas for this book but sometimes it got kind of slow. I do like how christopher gave his ideas of what, like a dwarf or an elf are like. instead of just saying the standard stuff about them. And I liked how he fit the elf and dwarfs into the story's history. When I got this book it took me about a fourth of the time it would usually take me to read a book so thick (that's how good it is). So all I'm trying to say here is that it was one of my favorite books, so I think you will like it too!Kali
