The tx111 is an entry level all-in-one device. Bought it for rs 2500, excellently priced
does color prinitng, scanning and copying.
Scan quality is excellent, simple to use, easy software installation.
Much better than comparable hp devices. Very good value for money. Cartridge also much less costly than hp.
Can copy in color/bw in one touch.
Good scan ocr software to convert documents to text.
Inbuilt pdf conversion also available.
Inkjet printers are not meant for people who need to print lots of pages, good for occasional printers like me, say 5-10 pages a month. For more printing better to buy laser
scanner is very useful and cheaper than buying a stand alone scanner.
Works with win 2000, xp, vista. Connects thru usb, simple power cord,
printer unit is about 4 kg, and simple black color design.
Do not buy thru online retailer, very overpriced, find a good local dealer.
Printer comes with 1 year on site service warranty.

I came to know some drawbacks after using for 6 months.
Black ink cartridge ran out after a few months , printed less than 50 pages, this is probably because the starter cartridges that come with these printers have little ink in them. New cartridges should last longer, although i am not sure how many pages they print (maybe 100-150?).
If one cartridge of any color runs out then printer stoips running, ie u need color cartridge to be non empty even if you want to print only black. This is a major design flaw.
New carts come for rs250 or rs 400 (91n or 73n)
