When I was considering a printer for my home, I checked various printers before zeroing on Epson Stylus T11.
This is for A4 size prints.
This is a good value for money printer. As I belong to advertising, I need a printer which gives near accurate colours, sharp text with great resolution.
Due to continues advancement of technology, more or less all brands are equipped with parity features. Epson is delivering good performance on various parameters:
1)Printout speed: It’s a bit slow when it comes to heavy graphics (6/10)
2) Correct colours: Yes! It prints close to real colours (8/10)
3) Ink consumption: economically ok (7/10)
4) Cartridge availability: 10/10
5) Maintenance: It has self nozzle cleaning mode (8/10)
6) Service centre response: (9/10)
7) Ease of installation: I am not a technical person. I could install it exactly in 8 mins. (10/10)
8)Printing on different papers: Prints well on normal bond paper, Special coated paper as well as photo glossy paper (8/10)
9) Time of spooling: this is the time the printer takes while collecting information from the computer (8/10)
10) 2 year warranty: (10/10 :-) )
just change the empty cartridge an go on printing (unlike some other hp printers where you have to change the entire set.
This printer has a resolution of 5670 dpi (dots per inch )
It gives sharper text, superb colour and longer lasting prints
Also it has the Photo enhance option along with Red eye reduction.
I have to try Durabrite Ultra ink to find out weather it gives water & smudge resistant prints as claimed by Epson.
