I have bought Epson WF-2538 printer about 3 weeks ago. I have paid for 3 years of warranty too. I was promised a demo. Nobody has turned up so far on that. The scanner doesn't work. I have logged in the complaint (Complaint no: 553713). Every time I call them, I am told that within few mins, I would receive a call and someone would come to resolve it.
Their technicians are non-technical. One of their technician visited and started carrying on the same steps that I had already tried. He didn't even know how to find the root cause. After wasting over 35 mins, he said that he will come the next day with his supervisor since the issue resolution was beyond his control. He kept on giving some lame excuses that my operating system was Windows 7, 64 bit, while in fact, he had downloaded 64 bit binaries for scanner ! When he didn't turn up for 2 days, I called him up. He has stopped responding to my calls now!!
I had called them up again today morning. It is late evening now and nobody has bothered to call me. They keep assuring that they would escalate; however, I don't think if they are bothered that out of 365 days onsite warranty, they are finding an excuse of delay it further after wasting 3 weeks of warranty without doing anything.
If Epson folks are reading this and if they think they have some self-respect and if you think you are capable of providing quality service, call me. You have all the details that I have uploaded when I have registered my printer online!!!
