Emmanual silks store at Edappally, Kochi was launched with much hype and publicity. On July 30th, I visited Emmanuval silks for buying a shirt. The shop was having good ambience and lot of people to assist. Parking space was more than enough and shopping experience was comfortably good.
And story is not ending there. I bought an Indigo Nation formal shirt for Rs. 999. The shirt was looking bright and comfort fit for me. I was surprised to see the poor quality of Indigo Nation material after first wash. It is terrible to explain. The shirt was washed using handwash (This "Branded" shirt provides no instructions although !!). The shirt was seriously wrinkled and after two times pressing Iron, it was not mend up well. The color became dim as well the yarns pilled out. I was really sad to see that I cant wear it in office / outdoors. My humble advice for you all - Please do not go and shop Emmanuval Silks, Ernakulam. Better go to Seematti or Kalyan Silks.
You won't be able to see Chinese / Thai girls to welcome you. But you will get value for your money. A shirt worth 999 rupees- see how the cost is divided- the value you pay is for getting "Welcome sir" and "Thank you sir" at entrance and exit, and not for your cloth materials.
It is better for them to sell quality products instead of selling peanut worth dirty stuffs inside attractive pack.
