Flew Emirates Moscow to Dubai return, and I must say Emirates didn’t
live up to its high standards. Flight to Dubai
was delayed by two hours due to some late passengers who were transiting no apology
given by the crew at any time and they didn’t bother to compensate for the
delay. Got onboard crew seemed a little rude and didn’t smile expect for one
young lady who was nice. ICE is good however was a little hard to use at first
and randomly during the flight the screen would turn off for about 4 minutes
and turn back on, making you not understand what is happening in your show or
movie. Food was good, despite the portions being tiny.
Flight back to Russia was also delayed this time for 5 hours and each passenger
compensated with a sandwich, an older plane this time A330 I think, the seats a
little narrow, but seemed to recline more, crew once again rude and never smiled,
food was good, entrainment was not too good with a bad selection of shows.
Overall Emirates is a good airline but they need to get better crews on some destinations
and update the in-flight entrainment system with ICE as soon as possible.
