We made the big mistake of buying Hob and Chimney that costed us more than Rs. 20000k. We face frequent issues and their service is pathetic to say the least. The dont have any authorized service centre in Mumbai but they passed on our contact number to several unscrupulous service agencies.
We were made to take a AMC costing us Rs. 12000 but when a part broke down, we were charged Rs. 3750. We had no choice but to pay. Within 2 day it again broke down and in-spite of our repeated following up, this is not being addressed but different people are calling from other service agencies and wanting to come to repair it so it can be charged again.
Elica shouldnt be allowed to sell their products in India, they are simply cheating unsuspecting customers like us into buying the costly junk and they continue to bleed. I will soon go to consumer complaint forum. I will urge you not to make the mistake of buying any Elica products else you will have plenty of time to repent in leisure like we are being made to do. Elica suck and should be banned in India.
