Readers should note electrolux uses antonyms in their claims. The word luxury is an example. Courtesy to it I had the first worst experience of my life with a product. I have a tendency to research good enough before I buy a product. But, in deciding this product I made the biggest blunder, reason I have trusted the company claims in the brochure.
Here is the testimony of it,
Major issues,
1.) Poor Cooling: Size of the room accommodates very well with the capacity of the A/c and I took enough care in sealing those air leaks. Despite these precautions I dont see the unit cooling the room. It would have been better if I went for an desert cooler since it would have cut my electricity bills drastically plus investment and given me almost similar performance.
I never felt that I was sleeping in an A/C room with the unit on. I have to run the unit all thru the night with the temp. set at 16 C. One positive of this unit is its just pleasant not chilling. Mind you pleasant means more running and more electricity since I never seen the unit cutting off.
Service is pathetic, you have to beg to being attended. I wrote an email to the company to my surprise they was an reply but after an reminder to my earlier mail which took 20 days. I appreciate their easiness to attend the customers in this competitive world.
Time god, pre-monsoon has arrived in hyderabad and finally the service guys attended me(Not sure if it was a coincidence or timing) on the day outdoor temperature was 26.2 C(This was picked from their temp. gauge) We made my a/c run for 60 minutes and after the run the room temp. was struggling to stay at 23.7 C(Difference made with the a/c was a mere 2.5 C) Imagine if it was to run when the outside temp. is 40 C plus.
What hurts me more is, service guys acknowledge this performance to normal.
2.) They claimed it as SUPER SILENT, but the fact being I feel im sleeping in a room along with a vacuum cleaner on.
I would like to sum up with these since there are other minor issues which can be done away. Anyways I SINCERELY SUGGEST users NOT TO CHOOSE THIS PRODUCT.
