Horrible, utterly unprofessional, nightmarish, appalling.
These are the words that best explain the after sales service for Electrolux in bangalore.
The story goes as follows:
Washing machine(under-warranty) stops working one fine day due to suspected rat-bite.
I call up electrolux customer care and they retrieve my address, etc from the database. A ticket is raised and I am informed that an SMS will be sent and someone will attend in the next 24 hrs.
The SMS never comes and 2 days pass.
Upon following up, I am informed that the system dowsnt have any record of the ticket created for me. This was a bolt from the blue for me.
The agent creates a new ticket for me and this time the SMS arrives on my phone within the next~5 mins.
No action for the next 2 days.I call up again and am assured that someone will come to my place in the next 24 hrs.
No action for the next 2 days and when I call up again, the agent tells me that the ticket created for me is for "Thane" whereas my address shows up as Bangalore.dont know what can explain this kind of blunder. What kind of training ELectrloux imparts to its service team that they cannot even create a ticket properly.
From the next 1 wee, everyday I call up the helpine and every time I get the reaction as
"Oh! nonone has come to your place! I will make sure someone comes today."
(Already 2 weeks have passed.)
After this, I mail them hoping to trigger some escalation. I get a call next day with the person assuring that the issue wiil be resolved in the next 24 hrs.They even share the Bangalore Area service manager Mr Bharath Reddy(9632044055). I call up Mr Bharath and is assured that he will assign someone to look into my issue.
Still no action and I send a reminder mail.I get a cal immediately with the same mechanical response as: "Oh! nonone has come to your place! I will make sure someone comes today." This goes on for the next 7 days It became part of my daily routine to receive 2 calls from them everyday.however without any meaningful action on the ground.
Finally, I contact reliance resQ and my issue gets resolved within 48 hrs as promised.
It was a harrowing experience to deal with the Electrolux after sales service to say the least.
I will sincerely suggest anyone to think 1000 times before buying anything from Electrolux.
