To all Parents who are keen to get their Kids in Ekya School - Kanakapura Road:
The shameful incident took place in July 2015. We got our son’s admission in Ekya, into Pre-nursery(Kanakapura Road), when he was 2.5 years of age. On the first day of his school and just after 3 hours, our son came out limping and crying in pain. Upon investigating, we found that, our son was beaten up by one of the teacher. They must have found it easier to thrash and control the kid, than calling up the parents and informing them about any discomfort.
We confronted the principal but she refused of any such happening and when we told about filing a police complaint, she asked us to give them a chance to improve and learn from their mistake. I was shocked to learn that, a branded school had to learn by making our son as their victim.
We did not want our son to undergo the trauma as he was already shaken. Hence, we did not file any police complaint. We got our son out of that dirty place and we just wanted them to seek an apology to our son and refund the school fees, which never happened. I had to finally go and shame the principal in front of all the parents, at the school entrance.
They have also hung a full size human skeleton model from the ceiling, to scare the kids! The Ekya School management is extremely shameless, inhuman and arrogant.
I got to learn that Schools are not about brand and sometimes, “brand” could be a fake perception. Schools like EKYA should be demolished, so that the gentle minds of kids are not scarred for life.
As a parent, I will ensure that the guilty teachers(Principal Malathy Ranganathan and their useless PT Teacher) gets a taste of their own filth very soon. They do not understand polite language. Some people learn the hard way.
