very enjoyable book,full of youthful vigour. Review on Ekushe Pa - Bani Basu

I loved the book "ekushe paa' by Bani Basu .She is a renowned story writer of Bengal and I tell you this story is a feather to Bengali literature in the era of contemporary youth stories .I read it ten times and I can guarantee you that if you like to experiment with youth idiosyncrasy ,you must relish all parts of this story .This story revolves around a group of college going students who fall in love ,get infatuated ,are career oriented and also fall prey to addiction or inebriation .When I read the story ,I could relate my ekush or 21 at college days .So the laconic way of story telling capacity ,arrogance and compassion and overall tussle between emotion and logic always made me glued to the book .The book not only harps on youths but also their relation with guardians and Bengali culture ,festivals ,customs and gestures blended with culture from the occident .The struggle of youths to make your career and love life successful will remind your days .I am sure you will giggle ,frown and sob along with materialistic parts of the story .I enjoyed a lot and learned many youthful vigour that I may not have realised at that age .You must enjoy .Recommendable and commendable .
