Well I expected much from this movie but dissapointed.

Story:

The film is set in contemporary India. For nine generations Eklavya's(Amitabh Bachchan) family has guarded the Kings of Devigarh. He has only one purpose: to protect the Devigarh dynasty, the fort and the king. Eklavya has vowed to himself that whatever secrets he knows of the family will die with him on his funeral pyre. Having served the royal family all his life, he is getting old and blind.

The heir of the throne, Prince Harshwardhan(Saif ali Khan) tired of the unfair customs ruling the land escaped to London but reluctantly returns for the funeral of his mother Queen Suhasinidevi(Sharmila Tagore). The kingdom is overjoyed with his return as is his mentally challenged twin sister, Princess Nandini(Raima Sen) and his childhood sweetheart Rajjo(Vidya Balan).

However the kingdom is torn because the farmers are being stripped of their lands. King Rana Jaywardhan(Boman Irani) along with his brother Rana Jyotiwardhan(Jackie Shroff) support the injustice to the farmers. The king receives a death threat over the phone. Pannalal Chohaar(Sanjay Dutt) investigates the threat to the king but with the kingdom already in turmoil his help may be too late. As carnage breaks the secrets of the Devigarh dynasty are revealed.

The secret is that King is unable to have sex, so asks his guard and friend Eklavya to have sex with her at the himalyas. So Saif is Amithab's child. The King kills his wife at her death bed bcs she called Eklavyas name repeatedly at bed.The queen or saifs mother had a letter writtem explaining to him who his real father is.Saif kills the King because the king killed his mother.Originally the King colabrate with his brother to kill Eklavya for 2.5 crore. But Saif give 25 crore and get the kings brother kill the King.Amithab then kills the Kings brother bcs he had killed his King.but soon found out that it was his son or Saif who killed his King.So he went to kill his son.Eklavya went to cut his thumb(his son) for dharma. But this time eklavya didnt kill Saif.Instad Saif kills himself. But wait, when Saif pulls the trigger, Eklavya hears the click of the trigger and he being a acrobat use his dagger to deflect the guns barrel by throwing the dagger at the gun.The films ends there happly ever after.

Cast Performance:

Everyone performed really good.

On the whole the movie is really boring. Action scenes are good but very less. Sunjay Dutt was the only one who entertained but he has only three scenes of total 15 minutes. Watch it to see the theatrical trailer of Munnabhai Chale America.
