Yet, with Salman khan and katrina kaif in the lead roles as lovers from opposite sides of the border, the sparks were bound to fly and both the actors do justice to their roles, their sparkling on screen chemistry is the soul of the film!! The forbidden love obviously has its many adversaries and hence lots of action and to my surprise the lead pair aces it with aplomb !! The movie "looks" beautiful overall with excellent looking cast n picturesque venues, an eye soother indeed, great camera work.
This is not a typical salman khan film , though he still is larger than life.. his best work since last dabangg act ! Katrina does wonders to this film. The ending might look bit atypical to quite a few of the audience and in the end you are left asking for more, some questions left unanswered, but for good, in my view. The songs are cool. Ranveer Shorey tickles in his cameo. Kabir Khan, director, has come back well after his last movie New york (2009). The movie is not so much about RAW or ISI. Its a love story out n out within the guarded corridors of secret agents, so go with that intent , n you will like the movie, don't expect a CIA thriller !! EK THA TIGER has its obvious limitations but it deserves a watch.
If nothing, but for nice cinematic experience it delivers through its lead pair !! Its again a salman khan EID offering and he seldom misses out on success and the 100 Cr mark may well be beaten again by sallu bhai through the biggest release of 2012 !!
