So out of no choice I ordered a product on Snapdeal which was not available anywhere(I usually go for Flipkart and amazon). And on the same the day I also ordered an another product on Flipkart. Both was Cash on Delivery.
Just within 3 days the Flipkart's Ekart delivered the product to me(Fast as-usual), and these Ecom Express, they didn't even dispatch the courier in that 3 days too. So then it was a bit of wait and on the 4th day the snapdeal product for shipped and then it took about next 4 days to deliver the product.! The Tracking system is also not upto the mark. Not updated regularly. the previous day's update come up on the next day or the after 2 days. And most of the time the ecom Tracking page never loads up too. Pretty irritating.
And not only this, the packing done by this courier service, yuck. The product was a Tv remote Control, and they just the wrapped the bill paper over the product and sent it me. It was an Electronic equipment with not protection at all. No bubble wrapping or even carton wrapping. Infact, even a normal local Fancy store does a better packing.
And on top of it, Delivery guys were pretty funny too. Two of them on a scooter, came in fast, handed over the product to me, got the sign of delivery and they quickly got back on their scooter to go! What did they miss here? Yes, The Cash! They didn't take the cash from me at all for the COD product.!
Then I called them back and gave the COD to them. And then they apologized and thanked and drove away.! This is how these guys work.!
Overall, Again Snapdeal is still proving to be one of the slowest online shopping portal as of now.
Their Website is slow. There Process is slow. And there Shipping is slow either too..
