Better then expected ... Review on Ecabs

I read some reviews here and was little skeptical but one of my friend has been using eCabs service since long and recommended it.

I did the booking from the internet but choose to pay on pickup.(this should be avoided pay in advance and get confirmation) .

When I arrived at airport I saw someone with ecabs board and I contacted him, he was eager to help me and asked for my name. . he helped me in luggage and then took me near the cab. till now everything was ok.

the cab was some shabby looking car. and I told that I booked for an Indigo car. he told me that what he has and I have to pay me Rs.2400/- I told him that I have booked for 2100/- but he said parking and toll is extra. I was very unhappy. . I then put my cellphone on and I saw that I have received some sms from ecabs. I called them and complained about this. and I learned that the person I have contacted is not ecabs and there is someone else waiting for me with the right cab. I immediately left that guy and I received a call from ecabs call center who guided me to right place where I met the driver . who gave me ecabs bill and put my luggage in the right cab and he alreayd had my booking details and did not charge anything extra . on my way I received call to give my feedback and the call center guy explained me the problem.

• he told that ecabs is very popular service and there are many people who try to take away their customers at the airport. by mis representing. - I should always check my cellphone for the sms with the driver number and call him. also I n case of any problem always call their board number and tell them to coordinate with the driver.

I think some bad reviews here are because these guys were taken away by such people and they not only gave them bad service but also. money
