Baazee is a joke... Review on Ebay

As I was trying to get some Review on the latest movie I came across Mouthshut.com and I was fascinated with the simple outlay of Mouthshut. So in Internet section I got to read a review on Baazee from the CEO of Baazee itself.

So what can one expect from a group of people who has fooled all types of People be they their VC or user like me.

Avnish's Review sound likes a desperate cry of a criminal asking for forgiveness for his wrong doing before going to gallows.

This review of mine is in one way to express my disliking of Baazee and a reply to CEO of Baazee.

I became member of Baazee way back in July 2000. (I still curse myself for my mistake to register on baazee)

My problem Started from the time I typed Baazee.com in address box of my browser. The page would just not open for me even after five mins of my refreshing the browser. At last I decided to quit and carried my normal surfing. After 15 mins when I was finished with my Work I decided to close my all browser and there was half page of baazee staring at me.(atleast now pages load faster) Even with that information I decided to Register with them and again I had to go through all those long registration forms. Yes Like most of the user even I did read their Terms and Conditions.

Here is what they start with:

“Welcome to Baazee .com baazee.com provides its service to you, subject to the following Terms of Service, which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you.” Now Terms & Service is the Heart of any deal made especially on Internet where the trust level of is lowest. Now I want to ask if Mr.Suvir and Avnish are so concern about the Customer service and freedom why and how can they change the terms and service without any Prior notice to its customer. This means if tomorrow Avnish decides that they have made enough money fooling the VC and now no longer want to be in the baazee, what will they have for their loyal members? (most of them are baazee people itslef) There is nothing in their Terms & Service, which can be looked upon as professionalism of baazee.

Now the site site is from top to bottom a auction site, but I was shocked to read the following clause which says that ''baazee.com reserves the right to reject or void bids, whether winning or not, that it deems not to have been made in good faith, or that are restricted, prohibited or taxed due to local laws.'' So the CEO of baazee sitting on the hard earn money of VC can foresee that bidding for a Round - Neck T-shirt is not in good faith or bidding for AK-47 is Patriotism. I ask ''Who are the CEO's of baazee to decides the faith of Bidders. Avnish an advice to you'' don’t get too big for your own shoes'' We people of this country are more faithful then you at least we don’t fool and waste the money of VC's.

The Bid Prices:

As I am into Computer Hardware I always check the Prices of Monitor, ROM and other computers Peripheral on Both Bidorbuy and Baazee, and tell you what most of the Electronics Products listed on Baazee are at least 15% higher then their market price. The Auctions prices of most of the Products are fake and just to woo and fool the common man they say going in 1 hour.

The Thing I got from Avnish & Suvir.

After trying for month finally I won a bid for a CD-Rom for 52x and then I waited for their email for a week, but there was no mail from baazee to me. So after waiting for a week I finally decided to call them at their office, and it took more then fifteen minutes for the concern man to come on line. And when I informed him about my winning Bid all I got was some??? For myself.

2) What's your Baazee id.

3) From where are you calling?

4) How you came to know about Baazee?

After answering all those stupid I got shock of my life questions, I got shock of my life the only answer I got from them was ''Sorry we don’t have any user by your name, can't help you''. So I decided to log in on baazee again and to my astonishment I was able to log in and could participate in bidding for products. Then again I called them and this time some lady rudely told me that this is not Baazee' s office so pls. Don't call anymore here.

This is the way their site and Customer Relation works It suck Big time.

The Latest News I got from one of my Client is that Baazee has hired a new CTO from US. With all those funding that’s no big deal. Only time will tell how much impact does this new CTO makes on Baazee and Indian consumers.

For me Baazee is going only in one direction and it is to doom.

How long can you fool people with big advertisement and fake Promises of best Customer Relation?

Baazee.com, your days are now numbered.

Try some different trick Mr.Avnish to fool people and we all know you can do it again, as you are the Master of it.
