Ebay is an auction site where you can find just about anything that you could ever want.

I have been shopping on Ebay for a while now and have enjoyed my experiences there. I have been able to purchase items there that I would have had to pay much more for had I bought them in a store.

This weekend, I spent way too much time on EBAY bidding on a food sealer. I had to have it. I was outbid at the last second on three different occassions. It became a bidding war on the last one and I was not going to pay a high price just to win the bid. I decided to wait for another one that was listed on a Dutch Auction and I finally won it.

I am a fool for things that are seen on TV items. The ones that they sell on television on infocommercials. Well Ebay is the place to get these items cheaper. I have only been dissappointed a couple of times with these items.

The Good Part about Ebay is that you can get things for much cheaper. People are not likely to sell things on Ebay that are not what they say they are. The reason for this is the feedback that is on all the auctions. Everytime I buy something, I leave feedback on the seller and the seller leaves feedback on me. I have always left positive feedback on Ebay since I have always had positive results.

The bad part of Ebay is that you can spend money on things that you normally had not intended to buy. Since there are so many things to buy there and at a good price, you can see something that you may not want to pass up.

Many of the items on Ebay are new and still in the box, some of the things are refurbished. They have celebrity auctions, however I have not participated in any of them They are for a good cause though and go for charities of the stars favorite charity or cause.

If you want to bid on an item, you will have to register at Ebay with a member name and a password. This way Ebay has some information on you. If you are going to sell on Ebay, you have to put a credit card on file to pay for listing fees and insertion fees. There are all sorts of different fees. If you plan on selling there you need to read the rules and the fee schedule. They look like they are minimal fees.

Sometimes the Sellers take their time getting in touch with you and other times they are Johnnie on the spot as soon as the auction is over. These are the ones that I prefer.

There are also the people that sell, that have companies or large lots of things that they are selling. They will send out rules that you have to follow after the auction is over. I don't like this. This is too complicated.

Most of the sellers now take Pay Pal, Billpoint, and personal checks. If you pay by a personal check, the seller will not ship until the check has cleared. Some sellers now are not selling to anyone via personal check, unless they have a certain number of positive feed backs under their belt.

If you have never shopped there you owe it to yourself to go and check it out. You can get gifts for people there and have them shipped directly to the person you are giving the gift too. It is fun and a great way to save money.

I am going to take a stab at selling on Ebay pretty soon. Wish Me Luck and Happy Bidding to You.
