E bay. Review on Ebay

ebay is a well-known auction site on the internet for people to sell their unwanted items, for people who actually do want them! Everything you can think of will be on this website and more times than not you can grab yourself a good bargain. There are two ways you can buy items off ebay: either through bidding or 'buy it now'.

Bidding pretty much explains itself! You bid on an item but make sure you keep a close eye on it, as when it only has a few hours left, normally loads of people start bidding. The 'buy it now' items are self-explanatory as well - instead of bidding, you can buy it straight out. This is normally how business sellers sell their items as they have quite a few of the same product.

Every seller and buyer have feedback reviews. It is ALWAYS recommended to check a sellers feedback before purchasing an item off them as this tells you whether they are a good seller or not. It will show you the positive, neutrals and negatives and will state things like if a buyer paid for an item but never received it or if its faulty, etc. Its the same concept for people who buy items, telling buyers how quick a payment came through to them.  Payments made for items on ebay are encouraged to be done through Paypal.

This is an online service that protects your payments. If there is then a dispute between a buyer and a seller, and a claim is opened up via Paypal, they will put the money into a holding account until the dispute is resolved. If a problem can't be resolved between the two parties, then paypal can get involved and make the decision of who's in the right. Basically, they are there to uphold trading acts and make sure that both buyers and sellers are protected.

I would recommend ebay but on the basis that you seriously check the feedback. There will probably be people on there who are fake and are taking place in fraudulent activities. If you come across this, always report them to ebay who can investigate and get rid of their account if necessary
